THE GROOVE CONNECTION #02 — House & Disco House Selections | Isaac Varzim

Welcome to the second edition of The Groove Connection. This series is my way of revisiting one of the most valuable things I've built over the past five years: my personal music archive. Every week, I'll be digging back through thousands of tracks, playlists, and DJ sets to rediscover the records that have stayed with me over time. Some of them have appeared in previous mixes, others may have gone unnoticed, but they all have something in common: they've earned a permanent place in my collection. For this edition, I leaned a little further into the house side of things while keeping the groove-driven spirit that defines the series. You'll hear a blend of House and Disco House, along with touches of soul, funk, and modern electronic music. The result is a set that's slightly more energetic than the previous episode, while still built around warm basslines, infectious rhythms, and records that know how to make people move without relying on clichés. One of the things I've always enjoyed most about DJing is finding music that sits between genres. Some tracks clearly belong to house music, others borrow heavily from disco, and many simply exist somewhere in between. Those are often the records that make a set feel alive, constantly shifting while maintaining a natural flow.
