Animation Breakdown: Enzo Ferrari born in Modena, Italy on 1898 was the youngest of two brothers and his father owned a small metal engineering company. At age 10 he took them to watch a race at a motor racing circuit and that really captivated Enzo. A couple of years later he was struck by familial tragedies with the death of both his father and brother thus he gave up his studies and started looking for work in the automobile racing market without success. Enzo Ferrari served in the Italian army during the first world war, however he became severely ill and received a honorable discharge; after recovering his health he finally found a job as a test driver and later as a racing driver, making his debut in 1919 and winning in second place after two races, earning him a partnership with the Alfa Corse racing division and in 1923 he wins the first Circuito del Savio and meets Count Baracca, father of the famous Italian First World War pilot Francesco Baracca, later the family allows Ferrari to use Prancing Horse emblem as a mascot on his cars and in 1925 he is made an official knight by the Italian State for his sporting achievements and this is where the now famous logo came from.
