Virtualized Intel VT-X/EPT is not supported on this platform

VM Power ON failure : Virtualized Intel VT-X/EPT is not supported on this platform This video explains the steps used to resolve in the waterspider lab. The VM power ON was failing with the message «Virtualized Intel vt-x/ept is not supported on this platform». More details are below: Hypervisor platform : VMware Workstation Operating System: Windows 11 Steps performed: 1. Disable the Hyper-V using GUI and reboot the system 2. Check the staus of Hyper-V using systeminfo and msinfo32 3. Set the hypervisor launch type to OFF. Command: bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off” 4. Remove all Hyper-V features using PowerCLI Disable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Hyper-V-All Note: This is an issue observed during nested hypervisor deployment with VMware workstation ( especially to deploy nested ESXi on a VM )
