Korg M1: Live Demo of All 200 Famous Sounds of the 80's and 90's

Tonight we're checking out one of the greatest selling synthesizers of all time, the Korg M1. Released in 1988, Korg clapped back at Roland's D-50 going all in, creating the rompler and workstation in one go. With 4 mb of 16-bit samples (a massive amount at the time) Korg swept the floor with this monster. It also features a full effects section, including reverb, delay, chorus, tremolo, EQ, distortion, and Leslie simulation. The piano and organ presets were used in 1990s house music, beginning with Madonna's 1990 single «Vogue». I was able to find an M1 on Reverb in good condition for about $650 today. #korgm1
