I have a Tracker Pro 170 and where this had to mount was virtually impossible with the size hole tracker made to mount anything on the bow. So I had to make the hole bigger without hurting the integrity of the boat. Anyway as for the mount, it is really sturdy and definitely makes it so nice to remove the motor when storing the boat and putting the cover on. The directions were very clear and easy to understand. I used shorter bolts for the pad that mounts to the boat because of the difficulty of trying to reach the forward most bolt, I didn't have the time or patience to be ratcheting for 15 minutes. DO NOT USE AN IMPACT DRIVER!!! I state this because I am really good with tools, however when using this tool to speed up your process, it overheats the ny-lock nut to a point that it won't go on or come off.
