Satie - Gnossienne #2

The gnossienne are a type of music that Satie made up himself. They're assumed to have vaguely something to do with the ancient city of Gnossos, which was supposed to be sacred - a place to worship the gods. (I picture a cave lit by candles or lamps, and mysterious rites in flowing robes...) Satie is well known for his odd instructions to performers. He also put them all in French, and the translations to English vary. I guess the original French phrases are purposely vague anyway. In this gnossienne, he starts with 'aver etonnement (with astonishment), soon moving on to 'ne sortez pas' (don't leave). Then 'dans one grande bonte (with great kindness)...'plus intiment' (more intimately)...'aver une legere intimate' (with a light intimacy)... 'sans orgueil' (without arrogance/pride). I can't figure out how to put the accents over the French letters, sorry! There are no bar lines written in Satie's gnossienne, unlike his gymnopodie, which latter we assume are therefore meant to be more rhythmical.
