First I cut out the original main bass from the music at D2# tone - which is 1 semitone higher than the highest original main bass tone - just to be sure I completely cut out the original main bass. D2# tone is also the starting frequency of generated kicks (short tone slides), which I used as extension for original kicks - the generated kicks are starting at the ends of original kicks I leaved in the music. For generated kicks ending frequency I usually use the lowest bass tone for rebassing, but at this rebass I used for this D1# tone (1 octave lower than the starting tone) - because I wanted to make the kicks to sound more «aggressive», and of course it is still 1 semitone higher than the highest bass tone I used for rebassing. The generated kicks lengths is the same like the low parts of original kicks which I cut out from the music. I generated A0 / B0 / C1# / D1 simple clean sine bass tones for rebassing without harmonics. Then, the 2 lower versions I made simply by just putting all generated tones by 5 and 7 semitones lower except the generated kicks starting frequency.
