4 Month Sleep Regression

The 4 month sleep regression is, for many parents, the first time their baby shows resistance to sleep. What was working just fine, suddenly stops working and you're left feeling confused and wondering 'what went wrong'? The truth is, nothing went wrong and you baby hasn't taken a step backward in their sleep skills. They're developing rapidly at this age and moving forward and we're not always sure what that means in terms of how to accommodate their sleep. In the newborn and early weeks, you likely helped your baby to sleep, all the way to sleep. Now that's not working anymore or they're just not happy about being put down. Why? Because they are so much more aware of their environment and the way they have been nodding off up until now is just not going to be sustainable. They're ready to get practicing and experiencing the sensations of falling asleep so that they can do it happily when they need to. If you enjoyed this video let me know!
