Vibrato Virtuosity
Not really a ‘divertimento’ in the usual sense (which had six or more movements), this charming piece for strings has just three movements: The work consists of a lively opening Allegro, in simple sonata form; a charming central Andante; and a brilliant concluding Presto. This concert performance by the London Mozart Players was recorded at the church of St Martin in the Fields, London, on 30th August 2018. Leader: Simon Blendis *** The London Mozart Players are an orchestra at the heart of London’s classical music scene, and the UK’s oldest chamber orchestra! MORE:
