Matt pairs Erae 2 expressive controller and looper with new Erae Sound synth engine. Two integrate fully, so loading preset delivers matching Erae II layout with no mapping needed. You can also build custom layouts with sliders, buttons and XY pads. Hardware feels solid, has swappable touch surface, eight layout presets, looper, arpeggiator, jog wheel and thin rear panel with 12 CV outputs that split for gate and CV, SD-card standalone use, MIDI and USB. Erae Sound offers dual oscillators with filters, generators for through-zero FM and wave folding, four envelopes, four LFOs, pressure curve and chainable effects page.
