Police officer Jake travels to Bangkok with his wife Prang and their young daughter Lu, expecting an ordinary family vacation, but the trip turns into a nightmare after an encounter with the possessed occultist Mek. Chaos spreads through the city: people fall under the control of a demonic force, the streets become deadly, and Jake himself is pulled into a supernatural space between life and death. With the help of a mysterious young monk named Chan, he learns that an ancient ritual has opened a path for the forces of hell, and that his family has become part of someone else’s plan.
