How-to: Change high beam & DRL headlight bulbs, VW Golf Mk6

Easy DIY how to: replacing the main high beam headlamp bulbs on a Volkswagen Golf (Mk VI). Changing the bulbs on a Golf is trickier than ideal, on account of the limited space available for hands and fingers behind the light assemblies.
