The UK quartet led by Dave Bayley hit the ground running when they crafted two beloved electro-pop albums: 2014’s gossamer debut ‘ZABA’ and 2016’s kaleidoscopic &To Be A Human Being.&For years, hip festival crowds swayed and stepped to “Gooey,” “Black Mambo,” and “Pork Soda.” Then came ‘Dreamland’ and its gargantuan single, “Heat Waves.” To make a hit so massive - it literally holds the title for longest run on the Billboard Hot 100 chart ever, and pretty much any streaming record imaginable for an “indie” band - is an accomplishment typically reserved for the “in your wildest dreams, pal” section of life. Such success can weigh a band down. It can also free more dreams. The new ‘I Love You So F**cking Much,’ arrives as the band has settled into what Bayley called the “beautiful roller coaster” of the past few years.
