Homebirth

This is a picture video I made of Amelia Jayne's story, and why we chose to do it the way we did. Giving birth, for me, was never just about popping out a baby and calling it good. I wanted to experience every moment, and I needed to know that my body wasn't broken. I was offered no help from the hospital when I asked if preeclampsia was preventable. But thanks to my doula who thoroughly researched it for me, I was able to adjust my eating habits, which i truly believe helped prevent it. God has never been more real to me then when I delivered Amelia. Music by Larnell Harris, «In it After all»
