Hand Brake Adjustment Toyota Verso and Balancer

Hand brake adjustment for Toyota verso 2013 to 2018, most of the procedure is same on most vehicles, this Toyota verso only has 2 adjustments one is under the handbrake lever as shown in the video and other is inside the rear brake disk., there is no manual adjuster for the brake cables instead there is a self adjusting balancer which i have shown photos in the end part of the video. , in most cases handbrake can be adjusted by following the procedure shown in the video but if brake shoe is excessively worn inside the brake disk or brake drum then you will need a new brake shoe., if all of the above doesn&work then there may be possibility of stretched handbrake cables which might need replacement or adjustment depending on the vehicle make and model in the case of this Toyota verso streaked hand brakes cables can not be adjusted and would require a replacement.
