Union Pacific big Boy 4014 From Kit Karson to Limon, CO

After a fine morning run from Sharon Springs, UP Big Boy brings The Race Across The Southwest Tour into the day&first service stop of Kit Karson, Colorado. From there, we head out to meet the train in Aroya before the day&second and final stop at Hugo, CO. Hugo is home to a fabulously-preserved Kansas Pacific Roundhouse. We meet the train one more time at speed out in the prairie before ending the day at Limon. The train is shoved off the UP main, and over to the Kyle Railroad transfer track; formerly of Rock Island Heritage. After a day of display in this quaint little town, it&be off to Denver! Rate.
