Mortal Kombat - PS Vita Gameplay

Gameplay from Mortal Kombat on PS Vita. Mortal Kombat for Vita was released in May 2012 and is a port of the PS3 version that was released about a year earlier. The port includes all material that was available in the «Komplete Edition» of the game, plus 150 new challenge tower missions that use the Vitas touchscreen and gyro features. The port is pretty well made. In order to get high frame rates the graphics quality however has been noticeably scaled down. This does not impact greatly on the gameplay though and Mortal Kombat on the Vita can be considered one of the better fighting games available. Mortal Kombats reception was generally positive with the game rating in the high 80's. Fighting game expert Jeff Gerstmann at Giant Bomb gave the game 5/5 stars. Online servers has unfortunately been shut down since release. Mortal Kombat is not supported on the Playstation TV.
