Remove and Replace Left / Steering Wheel Airbag Mercedes W163 ML230 ML320 ML270 ML350 ML400 ML430 We took this video to show you how to remove and replace the front driver&driver side airbag on Mercedes ML CLASS W163. If you need to remove your steering wheel for some repair then you will need to remove the air bag as well. It is not complicated procedure at all. It has only 2 bolts that hold it in place and you will need T27 Too Torx. Make sure that you unhook the battery of your Mercedes at least 30 minutes before you start the repair. This way there will be no voltage in the system. Be very careful and gentle with the airbag because it could explode if not handled right.
