This song was inspired by the life and service of Mandakini Mataji, one of the early disciples of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. As a young woman searching for spiritual truth, she encountered Srila Prabhupada and prayed for a special opportunity to serve him. What followed was a lifetime of devotion, service, travel, and sharing Krishna consciousness with people around the world. More than fifty years later, Mandakini Mataji continues to inspire devotees through her memories of Srila Prabhupada, her unwavering faith, and her dedication to his mission. The title, «You Entrusted Hearts to Me,» reflects a beautiful realization: sometimes we pray for a small service, but Krishna and Guru answer that prayer in ways far beyond what we could ever imagine.
