Your subfloor will have an impact on your system, especially with bass. By selecting the «peak» option at the bottom of the graph, you can choose whether to record the peak like I had it, or just real time. When using the «peak» option, you can select «reset averaging» at the top of the graph to reset the peak line. For my sub 30 hertz playlists, I look for good sized peaks under 30 hertz. There is a lot of music that has signal under 30 hertz, but for the purposes of my playlists, I look for defined peaks. The RTA is also great for discovering noise issues, like how much noise an AC unit adds to your room, and other appliances. The lower the noise floor, (the sound level when your room is «quiet») the better. ***Gear and Links*** Subwoofers should reproduce quality sound with authority throughout the humanly audible bass spectrum (20-100 hertz). Most ported subwoofers do not. Subscribing, likes, comments, and shares all help a lot too!
