Moog Synths: Programming Bass Sounds with Mikael Jorgensen

Аватар автора
Wilco keyboardist Mikael Jorgensen demonstrates how he programs analog Moog synth bass sounds using Moog Messenger, Moog Grandmother and Moog Subsquent 37 in this in-depth sound design seminar. Jorgensen calls on his experience playing Moog synths for many years to adjust oscillators, waveforms and filters to elevate songs with spectacular bass lines. «What I find inspiring is richness of these pure analog synth sounds» - says Jorgensen. «They're based on complicated math and engineering to play pitch, but while I don't think about all of that stuff, I feel it. There's this poetic layer to these sounds that are pleasing and consistently inconsistent and that also respond to moment of inspiration».
