What a great song from Bonnie Raitt! I play this basscover with my fretless Fender Precision. It’s a nice accompanying bassline. And ‘Hutch’ does what he has got to do: playing long notes with an an occasional basslick. I like the way he ‘slides’ towards the notes and the timing of all of his notes. The notes are played laid back and emphasizes what the song is about: it’s a sad song, so there aren’t any ‘jumpy’ notes or licks. He stays within the atmosphere of the song. Great! Bass: James ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson Album:Luck of the draw (1991) Composers: Mike Reid, Allen Shamblin I play this song on a fretless Fender Precision Lyte with roundwound strings. Made in Japan. Ebony fingerboard and inlaid lines (done by luthier). . #basscoverwithtabs This video is for educational purpose.
