Stanley Ipkiss works as a modest bank clerk in Edge City and is used to being someone easily overlooked, deceived, or placed in awkward situations. His life changes after he finds a mysterious wooden mask: when he puts it on, Stanley transforms into a bright, uncontrollable, and almost invulnerable figure capable of breaking the laws of physics, talking nonstop, dancing, joking, and doing everything he would never dare to do himself.
