Mazda 5 Key Fob Battery Replacement 2006 - 2015 - EASY DIY

Here is a quick little demonstration on how to replace your battery in your Mazda 5 key fob. You're going to need a small screwdriver. First step is to unleash the tab in the mechanical key as I've shown. Insert your screwdriver and pry towards the top of the fob. Once that mechanical portion has been removed, use a small flat tip to gain access to the control board. Remove the old dead 1620 coin cell battery as I've shown and reverse the steps to get it back together. That's all you need to do and you're back in business.
