Boral Kibil - Return To Past (Original Mix) - Underground City Music

Russia&Underground City Music continues on a very strong run of releases with a new EP from Turkish producer Boral Kibil for the 45th overall release on the label. The &Back&EP comes with 3 new originals and a remix from Franzis-D. The title track &Back&gets the EP underway with a marvellous deep groove. The glitchy sound design and wildlife samples standout right from the start. Using samples like this can be a risky move but it suits the cool demeanour of the track perfectly. The breakdown revels a soft, melancholic line with some gorgeous emotional key changes that carries the track through to a great climax. &And The Same&is next and it continues the deep, soulful progressive vibe of &The kick and bassline are so rich and full that the bottom end just sounds spectacular. The tribal infused drums are nice and crisp and the lead melody is cool and ethereal. It&a great representation of the Turkish progressive sound that began back in 2001-2002 but with a refined and mature quality of present day production. The pace picks up a bit with the third original on the package &To Past&This one&got a bit more drive with a nice fluid bassline and a simple arp that ups the dancefloor energy even higher. The airy pads sound perfect off in the backdrop as the processed vocals and lead arp work their brilliance over the first half of the track.
