How to Draw the Lewis Dot Structure for Te: Tellurium

For the Te structure use the periodic table to find the total number of valence electrons for the Te molecule. Once we know how many valence electrons there are in Te we can distribute them around the central atom with the goal of filling the outer shells of each atom. To find the number of valence electrons for Tellurium (Te) we can use the Periodic Table based on the Group Number. Te is in Group 16, sometimes called 6A. We can also write the electron configuration for Te to determine the number of valence electrons for the Te Lewis Structure. In the Lewis structure of Te structure there are a total of 6 valence electrons. Te is also called Tellurium . Drawing/writing done in InkScape. Screen capture done with Camtasia Studio 4.0. Done on a Dell Dimension laptop computer with a Wacom digital tablet (Bamboo).
