So it won't be surprising to note that different people will like and need different things for their compositions. Everything has its own sound, no modeller can sound identical to a tube amp. Even tube amps don't sound identical to each other. Needless to say, no tube amp can sound like a modeller. Everything is unique and it's all down to subjective taste, there is NO SUCH THING AS BETTER OR WORSE when it comes to tone. This being said, people often state that modellers don't cater enough to bass players, focusing almost exclusively on guitarists. In reality, modellers focus on something different, as they should: they try to recreate existing physical tube amps as well as various other gear in the digital realm. By doing so, they create more awesome gear for us to use and combine for toneful experimentation! You might say that modellers don't try to reproduce as many amps popular with bass as they do those popular with guitar. That might be true.
