In this tutorial we are going to explain the different Pad Modes within the Roland Fantom. Sample Pad Mode is great as it can recalls sound you recorded to your pad, for example a guitar solo you pre-recorded or a bass line. The Group Play Pad Mode is particularly useful s you can create lots of patterns and group them into groups and then use the pads in this mode to recall the groups; when you do so Fantom will also play automatically the group called following the end of the pattern being played. These therefore makes it perfect for live performances. There are already few demos in YouTube where this mode has been used servers times. The Rhythm Pad Mode allows you to change live what the drum is playing, of course you need to create drum patterns for this.
