Sample Pad Mode is great as it can recalls sound you recorded to your pad, for example a guitar solo you pre-recorded or a bass line. The Group Play Pad Mode is particularly useful s you can create lots of patterns and group them into groups and then use the pads in this mode to recall the groups; when you do so Fantom will also play automatically the group called following the end of the pattern being played.
