AIYIMA A80, A07 and other amplifiers on the TPA 3255 chip are recommended by manufacturers and especially smart audiophiles to be used with a 48-volt power supply and at least 5 amps, or better yet, 10 amps. Manufacturers can still be understood, they have a direct benefit. And the smart guys from the forums chatter, and themselves hide in the bushes. It&time to debunk the myth about the real current consumption of these amplifiers in an ordinary apartment, at an adequate volume that does not force the neighbors to call the police. My real-time measurements showed that under these conditions, power supplies from 20 volts to 48 volts consume 0.2 - 0.4 amperes, and at volume levels when it hurts your ears - at peaks 0.5 amperes.
