Frap Tools Magnolia: Modulate Modulations to Expand Your Sound Design

Today we want to transfer classic «modular» approach to Magnolia. In most keyboard synths, modulation sources like envelopes or velocity work directly over sound parameters. However, Magnolia allows you to modulate even modulation parameters themselves, which is «patching» style very common in modular synthesizer world. This video demonstrates nested modulation that goes up to 4th degree: velocity modulates envelope times, which modulate LFO, which modulates another LFO, which modulates cutoff frequency. Result is very lively and animated patch, even with simple sound.
