Programming the TYT UV98 using Windows OEM software

This is a demonstration of using TYT&OEM software (provided at no charge by your dealer at time of purchase) to program an *International Version (meaning expanded transmit band) of the TYT TH-UV98 dual band analog radio. This Chinese software is limited in terms of features and bells and whistles, but it gets the basic job done. The programming software for this radio must have a dedicated Windows machine, it will NOT WORK under Bootcamp on a Mac (many have tried, and all have failed). *In North America this radio does not carry FCC Part 90 approval, and is therefore considered an amateur band radio. This is also true of the BaoFeng models, notably the UV-5R, UV-5RA, and UV-5RE, This is not a review of the radio, and does not deal with any aspects of keypad programming the radio.
