Decided I&come back to Darien for this week&growl test and I&glad I did. Ever since Fulton fixed the chopper problem, it has once again been having the chopper activate at the same time as the blower and rotator, hence why you can hear the chopper for this growl unlike last time. I was hoping someone from the fire department would come and talk to me after the number of times I&been to this Hurricane in the last 3 months so that I could advise them on a new FS 508 to replace this. I&probably end up emailing the FD about it instead. I&be back here at least one more time, but for the first Tuesday in June tornado siren test instead. Update: This is officially the first and last video where the chopper on this siren activated during a growl in addition to it being the last test of it ever. Siren Information: Siren: ACA Hurricane-130 MKII Signal: Growl Usage: Tornado siren Motors: Chopper: 2HP single phase; blower: 30HP 3 phase Chopper: 8/10 port Location: Darien Fire Department in Darien, IL County: DuPage Tested: First Tuesday of the month at 10:00am (alert), every Monday at 8:13am (growl). Testing time today: 8:13am Other notes: Siren has been replaced with a refurbished T-128 and has the same black paint job.
