How to Solve a Rubik's Cube 3 x 3| CFOP Method for Beginners | imw

Hi everyone, in this video I'll show you how to solve a 3x3 Rubik's Cube using the CFOP (Modified version) method. CFOP stands for Cross, F2L, OLL, and PLL, which are the four main steps of the method. Step 1: Cross. The first thing we need to do is create a white cross on the bottom face, with the center piece matching the center of the white face. We do this by finding and orienting the edge pieces that have white on them, and placing them in the right position relative to the center piece. This step can take some practice to do efficiently, but with time you'll get faster and better at it. Step 2: F2L. Once we have the white cross, we need to solve the first two layers of the cube, also known as F2L. This involves pairing up the remaining edge and corner pieces that belong together, and inserting them into the right slots. There are many different algorithms you can use for this step, and it can also take some practice to get comfortable with it. Step 3: OLL. After we've solved the first two layers, we move on to orienting the last layer, or OLL. This involves recognizing and solving various patterns of yellow pieces on the top face, without disturbing the first two layers that we've already solved. There are 57 different OLL algorithms, but with some practice and pattern recognition you can learn to execute them quickly and efficiently. Step 4: PLL. Finally, we need to permute the last layer, or PLL. This involves rearranging the yellow pieces on the top face to...
