Black rhinoceros - World Rhino Week

Welcome to the next video of World Rhino Week, with this instalment covering the Black rhino! Rhinos are incredible animals, that with powerful horns, bodies and diversity of species, are among the incredible megafauna that currently inhabit the planet that we call home. However, hunting for their horns has led to dramatic and saddening decreases across all species, which has now brought many of them to the brink of extinction. I hope that through this series, the plight that these animals face is pushed to the forefront, so that more action can be taken to stop illegal hunting, and so that rhinos and humans can coexist.
