Motorola E399 engineering firmware on Motorola ROKR E1 phone

This firmware is from the Motorola E399 prototype which was supposed to be released in a different phone case. See the link above for photos. The prototype firmware contains many MIDlets for testing the Java virtual machine. The interesting things about this firmware is that Russian-language tracks are used as audio samples for test J2ME applications. Most likely, the Java-machine for this phone was developed in Russia in the R&D division of Motorola in the St. Petersburg city.
