#maxxisrazr Disclaimer I was given these tyres to test but I’m under no obligation to withhold any information. As a matter of fact, I am free to give an honest report back. These tyres were pushed severely to such an extent that I really tried to break them. As I had assurance from MAXXIS South Africa that I could draw another four tyres should I manage to lose a tyre. During my testing period I did not succeed in my attempt to try and break these tyres, nor did I need to get any replacement tyres. - Size & type MAXXIS RAZR MT 772 315/70 R17’s - Aggressive sidewall pattern and a 10-ply rating Tyre pressures - Highway driving I use them mostly between 2.2 bar unloaded and 2.4 bar when loaded – On gravel, I use them at 1.8 bar - On trail driving, I’ll use them starting off at 1.2 bar. On a wet or scaly surface trail, I’ll start at 1.1 bar. – Sand driving I drive them at .8 bar - Dune driving I start off at .5 bar and go down to .3 bar – Mud I use them at 1.1 bar - Rock I use them at 1.1 bar Noise One outstanding characteristic of these Mud Terrain tyres is that they are exceptionally quiet on tar. It does have road noise as expected from its aggressive tread blocks but you barely notice. If you are one of those people that rather buy an AT rather than an MT because you dislike the historic noisiness of an MT in everyday driving, then you can add this MT to your shopping list.
