The double album inhabits a surrealistic dream-like feeling, combined with a hyper light-filled clarity. Sun-filled detuned chords oscillate amongst strange backgrounds of unusual, uncategorized colours. Chords float upwards towards soft melodic currents above, both illuminated and obscured by soft yellow light from an unseen source. Gentle, vast and strange are the keywords to describe this release. The guiding principle behind the music of deepspace was always to go into the deep spaces that are all around us, whether on earth, in space, in one’s mind, or distinct places, such as a desert or in a garden.
