A Day in Alton Towers - Staffordshire, England ???????

A visit to Alton Towers, the biggest theme park in the UK and probably my favourite place in the whole world! ? Alton Towers is in Staffordshire, England and is the most visited theme park in the UK. People love it for its innovate roller coasters like Nemesis, The Smiler, Oblivion, Galactica and Thirteen. There's also the popular CBeebies Land with rides for younger visitors! Alton Towers is a really great theme park and ideal for a short break. We stayed in the resort at the Alton Towers Hotel on this visit. Other accommodation onsite includes Splash Landings, CBeebies Hotel, Enchanted Village and the Star Gazing Pods. I would 100% recommend staying onsite at the Alton Towers Resort because the theme park is in quite a remote part of Staffordshire. The easiest way to get there from overseas is to fly to East Midlands airport and hire a car. Parking is free if you're staying in an onsite Alton Towers hotel. Alton Towers is amazing for thrill seekers with lots of amazing roller coasters, horror themed attractions and world class experiences. Scarefest around Halloween is legendary. There's plenty for kids too! Do the Big Seven roller coasters - Nemesis, Oblivion, Galactica, The Smiler, Wicker Man, Thirteen and Rita - Alton Towers has some of the most unique roller coasters in the world. Nemesis was Europe's first inverted roller coaster, Oblivion had the world's first vertical drop, Galactica was the world's first flying coaster, Thirteen had the world's first drop track...
