Pregnant women are at increased risk for UTIs. We found out that I have urinary tract infection through urinalysis because the normal range of pus cells in urine is 0-5 but mine is 10-15 pus cells that suggests bacterial infection. My OB-GYN prescribed antibiotic for my UTI. Many pregnant women are scared to take antibiotic while pregnant but prescribed antibiotic from OB-GYN are important for helping your body fight bacterial infections.
