Through the calm and boundless space, 'Mongst the stars he walked alone, Dropping stars with gentle grace, Seeds of hope were softly sown. Watching habits of the cats, Guiding travelers on their way, Seeking in the cosmic depths Where his Lady Moon might stray. But the Moon did not appear: On the Hounds of Heaven’s trail, Through the stars she'd disappeared, Near the Scales to meet the Whale. Crescent wept into a cloud, On a cliff he sat bowed down, Then he lost his mind at last... From his grief... But she, the Moon, In the morning sought her room, Closed the doors and went to sleep.
