You&just completed a workout, and I know girl; you&got things to do, and places to be...but I want to remind you that is just as important as doing the workouts themselves. The best way for you to set yourself up for optimal recovery is to create or follow a stretch routine. This will help you get flexible and will prime your muscles, sending oxygen via blood to them, for the best recovery. Recovery is the part where our muscles are actually being built back up. And having lean muscle mass is important so that you have a great metabolism! Trust me, sis it all connects! So today I am taking you through a 10 minute quick stretch to slow yourself down a bit, unwind, and open up your body so that nothing gets tight or extremely sore. This is going to cure all that. We start by keeping our feet moving to promote a healthy slowing of our heart rate, and we slowly bring our feet to a stop as we move into our static stretches If you still struggle with any of these poses or moves, feel free to accommodate them to your liking/needs!
