The Pirates of Dark Water (Sega Genesis) - Longplay

One of my childhood faves. This game has fantastic graphics and music and the atmosphere in each level is amazing. The levels have a lot of secrets that keep you exploring and finding treasure like a real pirate and the items you collect become pretty handy in the later on. Where this falls short is the crazy ramp-up in difficulty in the last third with many Insta-death elements, fairly boring bosses with simple patterns and stages that are a bit too long.
