Home Assistant - How I work with YAML | Using Visual Studio Code and combining YAML and GUI-editing

Learn how to add and Visual Studio Code in Home Assistant OS. Create a setup where you can have both GUI-editable dashboard, and another YAML-based dashboard which can be edited in Visual Studio Code. I'll also learn you a few tricks in Visual Studio Code, and point out, why I enjoy working in Visual Studio Code instead of the RAW configuration editor in Home Assistant itself. You'll also learn how to upload files to Home Assistant through Visual Studio Code, and how to split up YAML code in multiple files with !include. ❤️☕ Support my work: Software used: ➡️ Home Assistant 2022.11.5 ➡️ Firefox Developer Edition 109 (64-bit) ➡️ Visual Studio Code installed as a add-on in Home Assistant OS ➡️ The «Google Theme» for Home Assistant, modded for mostly all-black backgrounds. ? ha-floorplan ?️? I've also tried to do almost everything «all black», and adjusted the text in most windows - instead of zooming in and out. I'll use this setup in my upcoming videos - and therefore, it's now shared a video for everyone to use. Home Assistant is known to change over time, so things can be outdated quite fast.
