🇷🇺Yars autonomous launcher drivers have begun their final exams at the Kapustin Yar test range. The final certification of autonomous launcher drivers for the Strategic Missile Forces' mobile ground-based systems is underway at the Technicians' School of the Strategic Missile Forces, located at the Kapustin Yar test range in the Astrakhan Region. The exam consists of a theoretical part and a practical component, during which cadets must pass tests on a special driving range: driving on restricted access roads and overcoming artificial and natural obstacles within a specified time. Upon completion of their exams, graduates of the Technician School will receive the military rank of «Warrant Officer,» be assigned as Yars ground-based missile system driver-mechanics, and, according to their assignments, be dispatched to their subsequent duty stations in missile units and formations. The Strategic Missile Forces training institution boasts not only extensive training facilities for classroom instruction and a driving range, but also modern simulator systems for practicing driving skills on multi-axle wheeled chassis. During training on the latest simulators, service members can practice operating multi-axle chassis in a variety of conditions. The visualization system allows for real-time simulation of various situations.
