SpinArc rotating arc welding torch - MIG welding at 5,000 fps CAVILUX laser illumination

A gorgeous high-speed video of a welding made by the amazing researchers at Labsolda. They captured this beautiful footage of a MIG spinarc with spray transfer at 5,000 frames per second using our laser illumination which enables you to «see through heat» of bright processes and «freeze the motion» of fast events and phenomena. So, what is so special about SpinArc? According to the creators of this unique welding process, WeldRevolution “This patented technology has an adjustable rotating welding arc, which enables welding in all positions, using both solid and metal-cored wires in a spray welding mode” (weldrevolution) Some of the benefits of the SpinArc is the reduction in joint preparation, reduction of weld stress and distortion, cleaner welds, optimization capability for narrow/wide grooves, and elimination of lack of fusion. This footage was provided to us by Labsolda and made by Marcelo Okuyama using the CAVILUX HF laser illumination. You can also find us on other social medias: #weldingcamera
