Korg M50: An ugly board that can really modulate

The M50 has an awkward, industrial look - a bit like a prop from «Aliens». The ergonomics are similar: Buttons that aren't nice to press, a touchscreen that needs a solid poke to work. But the sounds are versatile and it seems from looking at these basic patches that you could achieve just about anything you wanted on this strange looking instrument.
