The Last Absolutism: Why Companies Are the Final Refuge of Autocracy

This paper models the private firm as a functional operator to examine how much of an organization's state is dictated by the owner’s mentality. The author proves that in firms lacking external oversight, the organizational culture inevitably converges to a fixed point reflecting the owner alone, creating a «yes-man» loop that traps information within a closed system. This internal closure leads to structural degeneration—a phenomenon the author unifies with the «model collapse» seen in recursively trained AI and the genetic decay of inbred dynasties. By separating organizational pathology into the independent axes of authoritarianism and performativity, the text explains why performative «bullshit jobs» proliferate when work is severed from real-world outcomes. To escape this decay, the author proposes opening the corrective contour by binding decisions to exogenous signals and utilizing diverse agentic operators that lack human affective barriers. Ultimately, the research suggests that agentic reception and filtering can dissolve the scarcity of human attention, potentially decoupling economic viability from rank-and-file labor and supporting the case for an unconditional basic income.
