~Adelina Patti ~ La Serenata ~ 1905 ~ Restored By Marston ~ RARE ~

For @Meltzerboy. Mister. Marston has done it yet again, with this one of a kind restoration. Before hearing this I had only heard a version with very heavy surface noise and somewhat distorted voice ( It can be found on my channel for comparison. Not to be confused with her 1906 recording.) But since hearing Mr. Marston&restored version, one can hear what a florid and artistic singer Patti was in her prime! Note the charm and peerless diction along with her irresistible phrasing! The voice is amazingly youthful throughout. The constant changes in timbre and volume and the subtle contrasts make this a lesson for all singers. It was Recorded in Dec 1905 in her home Craig Y Nos Castle. We can hear why Patti was and still is revered as a legend after all of these years! Just a side note, Patti began singing ( professionally in 1851 - 162 YEARS AGO! ) Another side note...... Be sure to read the last picture in the presentation. It reads as follows.
