Flottweg Tricanter® Animation – the Decanter for Three-Phase Separation

One requirement for three-phase separation is that the solid phase must present as the specifically heaviest phase. It works similarly to a decanter. The decisive difference lies in the separate discharge of the two liquid phases. With a Flottweg Tricanter®, the heavy liquid is discharged under pressure using an adjustable impeller, and the light liquid is discharged without pressure. The adjustable impeller of the Flottweg Tricanter® allows automatical adjustments to the position of the separation zones during operation. This results in the highest possible selectivity.
