How to Enable M.2 NVMe SSD on a Asus H97M-Plus Motherboard

▒░█▀▓▒█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▀█▒░█▀▓▒ [Synopsis] This video shows you how to enable a M.2 NVMe SSD on the Asus H97 or Asus Z97 series of motherboards. You must update the bios before you do this, because NVMe SSDs weren&out when this motherboard first came out around 2014. You must must update or flash the BIOS to the latest version before you do this. The video for that is below. Before I installed a M.2 NMVe SSD, I had a regular M.2 SSD in this computer. That worked without any BIOS updates or tweeking. The regular M.2 SSD has a bandwidth of 560 MB/second, the M.2 NVMe is capable of up to 1 GB/second. I wanted to upgrade to that, but I ran into a few problems. Even after I update the BIOS, and got my M.2 NVMe SSD recognized in the BIOS. I wasn&able to boot into Windows 10 even when I installed it on my M.2 NVMe SSD, it would hang and freeze up. You need to do a few things in the BIOS to get it to work.
